ASUS USB 3.0 & Windows 7

Hello

Having recently purchased an Asus X555LB, I was very eager to jump into using the laptop for work and educational purposes and gaming also.

But I ran into a problem. I want to run Windows 7 on the laptop, but the only ports on the device are USB 3.0, which W7 does not support. I upgraded to Windows 10 and the mouse functionality worked absolutely fine.

But the fact being I don't enjoy W10 as I did 7. I may upgrade in the future, but not right now.

Can anybody direct me towards any programs or wireless mice or anything else that let's me go back to W7.

Asus, doesn't seem to have any drivers for W7 on their support page, they are for W8.1 and 10 instead

Try a bluetooth mouse/keyboard. The only catch is that you may need a mouse/keyboard to pair the bluetooth device but being a laptop you can use the built in keyboard / mouse to do that.

win7 does run usb3 as long as you have the drivers for it & that goes for any windows system with any device as in no driver no working device.
