Hi Guys
I own a 2 year old ASUS UX32L. Since some weeks ago the powerbutton seems to have a defective contact, since it was sometimes hard to power on (I had to press the button very hard).
As of today it is not possible to turn it on anymore. I tried to detach the battery and tried just with the power-plug (found this suggestion on some website), but it did not help.
Does anybody have a suggestion on how to proceed? Perhaps there is another possibility to power it on?
I don't want to buy a new notebook, but the warranty of this one voided just two weeks ago :-(
Edit: The power-led is working well. It also turns green after the battery is fully charged.
Thanks and best regards,
Visosilver
