So I cracked my screen on my nice laptop and bought a ASUS X501U for cheap so I could have something portable again. Problem is, it's very slow even for just doing simple tasks like browsing the internet.
My question is would it be worthwhile (and possible), to replace the hard drive with the SSD I had in my old laptop. The SSD is a 840 EVO from Samsung. It's only 250 GB, but worked amazing for what I needed to do. The current hard drive and "old" SSD both run Windows 10. Please let me know - I'm trying to save money here, but I'm slowly going insane using this other laptop.

Laptop HDD's are almost all of the same size 2.5 inch so as the Samsung EVO.
