Asus X541N not charging

Hi! I have asus X541N and my problem is that my laptop is not charging and the light indicator is not on. I also tried restarting my laptop and tried plugging it to different outlets but still not charging. I bought this laptop last october. Hope you can help me. Thank you in advance.

Try charging it while it is off. Not sleep or hibernate, but actually turned off. If it will charge then, but not when on, your charger is probably going bad and will need replacing.

If, however, it won't charge even when turned off, then it is more likely the battery that is in need of replacing.
