asus x541n problem about charging

hello. I am a little bit scared coz my 3 day old asus x541n laptop can't start. It has this orange light that indicates it's charging but the problem is IT'S NOT EVEN PLUGGED IN... i tried to open the laptop but it won't. I need an immediate answer pleaseeee. I'm worried that my dad will get mad

I also tried to plugged in the charger then plugged it out to see if the light disappeard, but nothing worked.

If this is that new, you need to contact the seller and get them to exchange it. No new device should give you such problems.

Hold the power button until the light shuts off. That had always worked for me with this model.
