Asus X550LB led battery

Hi there !

The led battery indicator it is off when the charger is unplugged and laptop use his battery.
When the charger is plugged the led starts and show the battery level and charging level .
OS: Windows 7 64 bit

Why does this thing ?

The LED indicator is the "charging LED" which only lights up when the charger is plugged in.
