ASUS X555L laptop battery problem

i am using ASUS X555L model laptop, even after shutdown the laptop also battery is going to dead stage...please help me out from this issue.

try to reset the battery:
Generic reset. Remove AC, battery then press and hold the power button for 60 seconds. Release, apply battery, AC but DO NOT BOOT! Wait 10 or more minutes.
if that doesn't work, it may be time for a new battery.
