I'm looking to buy a laptop and finally I have to select one from ASUS X555LJ i7 and Dell Inspiron 5558 i7. As I searched Dell is having most of my requirements except HD screen. I need FHD screen as well as 2GB / 4GB Nvidia 920 or above VGA. My budget is maximum $ 850. what should I select ?

DELL : http://www.dell.com/hk/en/p/inspiron-15-5558-laptop/pd?oc=ins15t-d1748&model_id=inspiron-15-5558-laptop

ASUS : http://www.asusnotebook.com.au/3173_ASUS-X555LJ-FHD-Intel-Core-i7-5500u-156--Notebook-with-Win81.php

Solution
Well, they both have the same CPU and GPU, RAM and DVD writer. But the ASUS has a full high definition display. I would buy the ASUS if it was me. But it shows it as sold out at that link.

Yes in that case ASUS wins. In Sri Lanka ASUS X555LJ i7 laptop is about 795 USD. so it's ok with my budget. But the case here is, it says that ASUS has low TECH SUPPORT.

ASUS has 5 points from 20. But Dell has 13. Is this matters lot? How it is going to affect.

How much does ASUS' lousy tech support matter? If you don't need it, it doesn't matter at all. If you do end up needing it, it could matter a lot.

Once Asus had been very famous for their high build quality. Will that add an extra value on the brand to sell their products for a higher price than dell does?

I from sri lanka 2 now i had this same problem now.
And seller said dell has 6th gen processer and asus got 5th gen, dell got 4GB VGA and asus got 2GB VGA but dell hasn't got HD display now what do you recommend to buy

The difference between the 6th gen cpu and 5th gen cpu is probably only about 5%. Not even noticeable in real world applications. Also, if both have the same gpu (920m), it is weak enough that it wouldn't make use of all 4gb VGA anyway. The 2 gb version should be enough. I'd still choose the ASUS.
