Asus Zenfone 5 got hang while messaging..

My asus zenfone 5, 3 weeks old got stuck while i was texting.. i can neither switch it off or go to any other options..if it was some other phone, cud've taken out battery and reset it..
somebody pls help me.. 🙁

Try pressing and holding down the 'Power' button for 10 to 15 seconds, it should turn off.
