Solved! AT2020 not working with Neewer 48v phantom power box and usb sound card

Hi, I recently got my XLR at2020 condenser microphone and was super excited to use it. I purchased a usb powered phantom power box that is 48v. Unfortunately, i am unable to get the microphone to work (as in its not picking up any sound when i test the microphone) please i need help i dont wish to waste more money

I did but all i get was a soft static sound, and when i try to talk through it, i do not hear anything

Did you connect the box to the front or back of the PC? Try both

I tried with another computer and it still doesnt work. My suspicion is that the phantom power box is not getting and giving enough power via USB.

did you try it without the usb sound card?

Is the power LED on of the power box?

Which neewer model is it exactly?

Doesn´t the neewer power box need 18V by an external power supply? USB only delivers 5V
