Audacity and YouTube Recording

My OS is Windows 7 Professional. My browser is Firefox, latest version. I have the latest version of Audacity.

I have viewed and read various articles online about how to record YouTube audio using Audacity.

I cannot record YouTube audio using Audacity.

I would appreciate someone giving me detailed instructions on (1) how to record YouTube audio using Audacity; (2) what Windows audio devices and drivers I may need to download; and (3) what settings I should have in the Sound section of my Windows Control Panel, and in Audacity. I am completely lost at this point.

Youtube's user license does not permit you to record their content.
