Audio connection

Hello,
Is there a way to hook up my new Toshiba Tv with hdmi to my old kenwood receiver so I will have my tv sound come out of my speakers? My receiver does not have hdmi connections.

I do not believe you can. HDMI is audio and video. There might be HDMI to RCA converters, but it will be an analog based signal I believe.

Your Toshiba TV has audio outputs (probably optical digital audio and not the old analog L/R that would connect to you Kenwood) so you will need an optical digital to analog audio converter. Just google it.
