When I use headphones or my headset they cut out every now and then when the sound gets louder all of a sudden. It happens quite frequently when playing games like tf2. At one point in the game there is a big space ship that blows up and makes a loud explosion noise and then my headset just turns off and I have to unplug it and then plug it back in again for it to work. I tested it on multiple audio devices and they all cut out so it isn't the headset. The headset is plugged in via usb on the back usb 2.0 port and I tested the regular headphones on the front panel audio port.
I read in a few places that it has something to do with my sound card driver. I don't know if that's the problem but I'd appreciate some help on this.
