audio out to Home theater

I need audio out from Samsung 40h4250 led Tv to Sony Dav dz556kb

The easiest way is usually a hdmi connection from the AV receiver to the TV. One of the TV hdmi inputs should support ARC (audio return channel) so that when you are using the tuner in the TV, the sound is output to the AV receiver. Any other video sources should be connected directly to the AV receiver.

But no audio out as Arc from my tv..... I also have a set top box which has an acr audio out (currently connected to tv by HDMI)

You could get the audio from the set top box.
You could also use a DAC to convert the optical audio out of the TV to analog that would connect to the Sony. The advantage would be if you had other sources then all would produce sound through the Sony not just the set top box.

If you are using a set top box, rather than the TV tuner, the set top box should be connected to the AV receiver.
This would mean you would have no need for audio from the TV.
If you do need it though, connect the AV receiver to HDMI 1 on the TV and check for any settings in the TV menu or AV receiver menu to enable ARC.
