Solved! Audio output on tv

Hi,
I have a lg42ub700t tv and it has hdmi and hdmi arc and audio out single and av and component rca output .now I am using tatasky setupbox and the video is connected to tv and audio is connected to home theater .now as I had sony davtz215 home theater it has only rca and hdmi output and fm cable only so


my question is how to get both setupbox audio and tv audio


I tried using rca spillter but I did not work what should I do any sugesstions

Connect the set top box to the TV, use the TV audio out to the receiver. According to the specs of the TV it has a standard headphone out you can use to your Sony HT system. If you want to connect both to the Sony directly, use a mixer not a splitter.

A quick perusal of the manual tells me the Component is INPUT, not OUTPUT.

On modern TVs, possible audio outputs are from: Headphone_Out, Optical_OUT, HDMI_ARC, and those are your choices.
