Audio Technica ATH-M40x cable too long.

For my portable use i find the cable too long, I was wondering if any of you guys know if Audio Technica sells a smaller cable.

Ath m50x has 3 different cables included

. Solution is easy, splice the cable (cheap if you have the tools needed). Or you could look for an aftermarket shorter male to male 3.5mm cable.

Just search for a 3.5mm male to male cable on amazon and there are much cheaper alternatives which are still decent.

I dont thinks its possible, if you havent noticed, there is a groove on one end of the cable which locks into the headphones. I dont think your going to find a cable like that on amazon.

Ah didn't know about the locking mechanism.
