Audio through TV with a VGA cable

I was wondering what do I need in order to have sounds play through my television while using a VGA cable. I know that VGA doesn't carry sound, but I was wondering what sort of cable would I need to buy which will carry sound.

Easiest and mostlikely will be classic 3,5mm jack cable like you can use with headphones, you can plug it into your pc and if your tv got vga it should have this one too. But ofc check first, it should be marked as audio in or pc audio or ...
But check 1st before you go buy anything if you got right socket for it.

The VGA input on your TV will likely have a pair of RCA audio (Red/White) inputs associated with it. All you need to do is get a 3.5mm to L/R Audio Stereo cable (something like this) to connect your PC to your TV.
