Audio Upgrade from G930

Hey guys,

I currently have a malfunctioning G930 which leads me into thinking its time for an upgrade. I do both gaming and music consistently. I have read a couple of posts recommending the Headphone with Mic option. I am wondering which Headphone is recommended under $100, also it would be nice to know whether or not I would need a sound card to complement the headphone. Thanks for any suggestions 🙂

If you think a headset could be a better option at that price point don't hesitate to let me know 😀

honestly at a $100 cap, it'll be tough to find that drastic of an upgrade coming from the g930. while it's build quality could definitely be better, it's still one of the better performing models in that price range.

if you can save a bit more, I'd suggest waiting and going with the ath-m50, or maybe the ad700s. audio technica makes some damn good cans. shame the m50s price just went up, you used to be able to get it close to $100. either way, both are excellent.

Thanks for the reply, I was able to find the M50s for $105 at a local store. I guess I got lucky since I see them retailing around 150. Big help in your reply, thank you.
