Doubt B&N can ever match the kindle. The 3g kindle is just so appealing to everyone. Hey free 3g internet! Anyone who travels will get a kindle 3g, because you have worldwide free internet, in case you want to check your facebook or email when in japan for instance, you don't have to pay for it.

My buddy works for B&N and I asked him why no 3g versions of the new nook. He said simple Ive sold 7 3g nooks out of the roughly 300 units ive sold in the last 2 months. So why should we offer something only a select few want or need.

Gamebrigada - You do realize the 3G is just for books right? You cant surf the internet or check email unless connected to WIFI.
