Backup iPhone 4!?!?! Not working

So I got the new iPhone 4s and I want to backup my data from my i4. I click to backup my 4, and it starts the backup but then just stops in the middle of it. It stops anywhere from around 5% done to 90%. I've let it sit for a couple hours and it hadn't moved since I had left. Is there anyway to fix this? I really don't want to lose my app data, texts, have to retype all my contacts, and reconfigure my home screen. Thanks for any help in advance.

I suggest you to try iBackuper. You can create complete backup of all your content with its help, save it on your computer, and then restore it anytime. I like this tool, and I don't think I'll return to using iTunes, as I've had too many problems with it.
