Backup software recomendations

I need to back up a single Windows 7 64bit workstation to an external disk. I am looking for a backup program that generate detailed log files that contain the names of files not backed up if there is an error. I have tried Acronis True Image 2011 and Active sync Pro. Both generate log files that specify an error has occurred, but do not list what files were not backed up. Does anyone know of a backup program that will generate a detailed log file that includes file names?
