Bass speakers for house music

Hello! I'm looking to buy my first set of speakers, my budget is around £150-£200. I'd love a speaker/system that shakes a bit. My friend has a speaker which was around £230 which is a speaker with a sub built in and it's insanely loud and the bass shakes his house. It's a bit out of my price range but I honestly don't know much about speakers (as you can probably tell) so I'm looking for advice before I start to shop around.

The best most economical solution is 2X satellite speakers, and a single sub woofer.

it is really hard to beat this system's value IMO. Any more bass than this in an apartment with bad sound proofing will be too much and you will piss people off.

Is the block in the middle the subwoofer? Also, if I were to buy speakers and a subwoofer separately would it be easy to link them up, do I need any extra cable and can I just plug my ipod or laptop in to play?

the logitech has no audio output or through so it would be difficult to hook it and something else up to one audio source. unless you buy a receiver that has multiple audio out puts built in and say some book shelf speakers then it be doable. look what I just found
