Does sending a file that crashes a computer include as destruction of property?
This file made a loop that opened a big amount of internet explorer tabs, which made the computer crash. Does this in any way destroy any hardware or software?
Thanks.

I am not a lawyer so the following is not to be considered as or construed as legal advice.

However, the victim may suffer "loss of use" with respect to the computer's crashes. Those crashes could result any number of things - especially if the computer is used for school, business, etc.

Google "Loss of Use". There can be consequences sans any physical damage.
