battery completely charged but does not light up

This would be the first thing I would try.

If it is not lighting up, how are you certain that it is fully charged? To test this, try plugging it in to charge and then hold down the "Volume Down" button for 10 seconds. If it is a charging issue, the tablet should start charging again. This can happen when the battery is completely drained before trying to recharge it.
