My beats only play the background music on songs it's like they're blurring out the words

i have heard the beats headphones come with two different cables. are you hooking everything up properly? i've heard of such issues in the past and it was all due to something along these lines.

off topic, beats by dr dre are overpriced junk headphones that often break. for the $300 they cost you can do much better.
