Solved! Beep sound in adapter hp

Hello,

I get a beep sound in my hp adapter, and the power (current) does not reach the laptop.

Does that mean the adapter is totally waste and I need to get a new one or can it be repaired

It sounds like your adapter is suffering some serious issue. Dont leave it plugged in it could be a fire risk. There are good quality Universal Adapters available that are good for replacing dodgy Adapters. Just make sure that the voltage works out correctly before you plug it in. I have seen them in action and they do work well.
