Best 2.1 or 3.1 Stereo System under ~$100?

Hi, I'm looking for a set of speakers for my computer. I know pretty much nothing about audio, so I have no idea where to start looking.

I think I only need 2 speaker set, or 3 (that's probably all that can fit on my desk). I have nowhere to put speakers if they're gonna go behind me. A sub woofer would be nice, I heard.

I'm gonna ask for a set of speakers for Christmas (lol), so they shouldn't be too expensive I think.

I'll probably only gonna use this for listening to music.

I would recommend the Edifier M1380 or the Edifier M3200.

I own the M1380's myself and im really happy with them, got them for about a year now.

I'll mention the Swan M10's, they are at $120 at:

however they can be purchase elsewhere and every once in a while they'll go on sale for about $100 and maybe at some point they will again for the Christmas season. Also, they go by HiVi M10's also, HiVi bought swan a little bit ago so I've seen them referenced as that too.
