If price isn't an issue, you can't go wrong with a set of Corsair SP2500s. You won't get much better than them, but the price is quite high.

There's also the Logitech Z623s, which still offer great sound quality at a cheaper price.

All depends how much you want to spend though!

My brother has the Logitech Z-2300s and they are excellent. I'd also suggest the Creative Gigaworks T3s.
