Best $600 Laptop for College Student (Computer Engineering)

Hi, I'm looking to buy a laptop for college, I want an ultrabook which is lightweight, I didn't know which to choose the i3 w/ nice features or i5 that's just simple so what is the best for my degree. I want a laptop which I can play some games even in low settings even low resolution laptops.

My Criteria:

Design - 25%

Features - 20%

Performance - 25%

Battery and Efficiency - 30%

Don't advice old acer.
These laptops have cheap quality parts. My brother had one. Its screen hinges got loose within 6 months and not only his laptop. My friends have the same problem! Even the camera mic stops working after sometime..

Rather buy something from Dell or Sony vaio..
Even lenovo, it has old designs but its good in quality. As you are a college student you will use it roughly everyday! Within 8-10 months you won't even care that it is a laptop in your hand..
