Best battery life laptop

Looking for an all purpose (no serious gaming) laptop with superior battery life. I am looking for something beyond 10 hours. Since my job takes me outside a lot, it would have to be able to be seen well in sunlit areas. I don't really want a small hand held device, prefer at least 12 in screen, nothing bigger than 17.

Well, get two batteries and that would help. I have a lenovo T500 and get 5-6 hours usage without doing anything really intensive. You could look at lenovo, usually good battery life and you can get battery extensions as well that could help.

Not too sure one who else. perhaps the dell latitude's as well.
