Hey fellow geeks,
I Have a pretty extensive DIVX, MPEG, AVI and M2P movie and other video file library, I was wondering what is the best "bug free" codec package out there? I am currently running "DIVX Total Package 1.7" , but I have a few newly posted/received videos that this package can't play. Am I already using best codec package?
Thanx in advance

And now it is time to play...

Every codec packages are garbage

Yes, they're a waste of time and in my experience they've done more damage than good. Just get DivX 3, 5, XviD, Lame ACM codec, and an AC3 ACM codec. Besides some unusual audio codecs needed in isolated cases, you shouldn't need anything else. And set the video codecs to run ONLY for their specific format - i.e. turn off DivX 5's override thing for all the other MPEG4 codecs, so XviD and DivX 3 work when needed.

Codec packs are the tool of the devil!

*head explodes*
