best cpu fan rpm diagnostic program?

Looking for the best freeware cpu fan diagnostic program that will also give rpm and work on an
HP Pavilion m7 series running win OS 7, 8 gig ram, 1 TB drive
Have tried speed fan and it trips Panda as a virus along with a couple other cpu fan diagnostics programs.
Any suggestions? It has an Intel I Core 7, but not and Intel MB so Intel's diagnostics won't work.

I've installed Core Temp, but it does not give CPU cooling fan RPM's.
I'll try the hwmonitor.

PS Also tried to download HWmonitor, but Panda AV tagged it as having a virus.
