Best Free Anti-Virus 2016 (Preferable incl. Realtime protection)

As the title states i'm looking for a good anti-virus, I've used AVG in the past and for the last year or so i've been using avast.

Just wondering if you think I should stick with avast or upgrade to something a bit better. Thanks in advance! I appreciate any advice I can get.

Hands down for me, AVG. I've been using them for at least the last 5 years and I've never had a virus through using that program.
