Best gaming headset for $80 or less

I've recently been looking for gaming headset for PC that is $80 (USD) or less.
It would be great if you could leave suggestions and recommendations and Happy Holidays!

I used to use the Plantronics Gamecom 780, it's fairly good for a usb headset. Check out steelseries and razer too, even though they have bad mics. The best all around headset for that price has to be Turtle Beach though, good sound with a good mic. Try the x12's. There are some good videos on youtube regarding this topic too...

I can attest to the quality of the PLantronics Gamecom 780 as well: I used it for about a year and the sound quality is very good. Comfort never really bothered me, though now that I've upgraded to a costlier headset, is kinda pales in comparison...

Logitech has some good headsets as well. I've used the G930 for a while (though it's out of your price range by $20). I've heard good things from friends about its cousin, the G230...

I know this thread is old but my second pair of Gamecom 780 snapped again in the same spot from a very soft drop. I'm now looking for a new set of headphones for $50-80 XD
