Best Headset ?

Hello guys, I'm looking for a headset that is good in terms of bass, but I'm still able to hear the persons voice and it not get drowned out by the bass. So I don't have to listen to one genre of music, but good enough to actually feel the bass, such as in dub-step. As well as being good for gaming, so 7.1 surround sound would be good! (As well as a mic of course hence headset.) Budget is about $150.

I currently use a gaming headset made by Corsair, it has a built in mic and it is a really comfortable and good piece of equipment. I used to have a Razer headset before that, until both of them broke on me. My experience with headsets have always been a bit crazy, but I would really recommend a pair of headphones, and to then buy a separate clip on mic, which can clip onto the headphone wire. I plan to do this when my current headset goes tits up. Some revered companies that I hold high are Boss and Sennheiser. Both are really good brands that make high quality audio equipment as well as being robust and looking good. I have two friends who use this setup, and neither have had as many problems with me and gaming headsets.
