Best laptop: 15.4" or 14.1"

I have a 17" inspiron 1720 laptop right now, it's kinda too big though to take notes on during class, so I'm looking to go with one a little smaller...

I would mostly just be playing WoW on high settings, or Spore on it, I don't like Macs for some reason, and I wouldn't wanna go above $1500. Any thoughts?

Hmmm I was thinking about that, but I'm not sure.

It's either that or an ASUS 15" model. There aren't many decent gaming 15" notebooks.
