The nicest notebook cooling pads available right now (IMO) are the Cooler Master Notepal series (U2 or U3) which have movable fans which allow you to place them directly under your intake vents seen here

^ agreed, except for intake placement all coolers are basically the same, they just blow air. if the Cooler Master is unavailable just try to find one with correct placement, but even if the placement is off it will still cool, just not as efficiently.
