Best laptop for streaming live broadcasts

Brother in law is going into hospital for 7-10 days. Looking for reasonable laptop that could adequately be used for viewing college basketball live streaming. Best options??

What kind of budget do you want to work with?
That's not a very demanding performance requirement. Almost anything you can pickup these days can easily handle that. What about internet connectivity and bandwidth? Wired connection or WiFi?

Under $400 - WiFi. They have DISH satelite internet connect at home.

Same basic performance as the HP DM1 - just in a standard 15" notebook format.
AMD E-450 1.65Ghz dual core APU, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD and 15.6" 1366x768 LCD w/ Radeon HD 6250 graphics.

@ $400 Toshiba Satellite C655 15" notebook
Core i3-2350M 2.3Ghz CPU, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD, 15.6" 1366x768 LCD w/ HD 3000 Graphics.

Toshiba Satellite C655 is probably a better option for re-use after the hospital stay. It's a fair all-around home office/home entertainment notebook.

Toshiba Satellites are great two for streaming. Audio and video= good quality
