best laptop for under £500/$760?

my max budget is £500/$760 and it has to be better than my current laptop:
hp g72
intel i5 560m (2 cores/4 threads base speed:2.66ghz turbo speed 3.2ghz)
8gb ddr3 1066mhz
17.3 1600x900 led

Hard drive size doesn't matter and i would prefer it to have a discrete graphics card, quad core cpu minimum base speed 2ghz. screen size either 15.6 or 17.3
battery life doesn't matter
