Question best laptop?

I have a dell laptop, pretty old but it great, but I need a second one and I try to find another one more recent but hard to find one used and at least with the same power.

Intel(R) Core i7-3720QM CPU 2.60GHz
Architecture:                    x86_64

Byte Order:                      Little Endian
Address sizes:                   36 bits physical, 48 bits virtual

I saw that one, more recent but less core... do you think it would as good ?

I have one used that I could buy with the spec above, I use it mostly to build image (build) open wrt forum

If you go to www.newegg.ca , you can search for refurbished laptops. Set your price range and then review the findings. Many offerings to choose from. Your stated use is not terribly demanding, so many in your budget are available.

It will definitely outperform the laptops you mentioned earlier.

Make sure it has a GPU installed. The Ryzen 3600X does not have an integrated video controller.

It will certainly outperform the laptops you mentioned earlier.
