Best NetBook for durability and battery life under 300?

Hey guys, i need a net book to use at work. I work outside in the elements but have a lot of time to spare so I am trying to write a book. What is the cheapest, longest battery life, and must durable option av
ailable? I would like at least 2GB of memory .

If you go with Netbook (10.1"), these by definition made with 1gb of memory, Atom CPU, and either 3-cell or 6-cell battery. You can usually upgrade to max 2gb.

But at this price point, you are looking for anything available, so just make sure you like the color, and you get 6-cell battery.
