Best quality laptops

What are the best quality laptops(build, performance and durability) are?
Are ASUS laptops good? Because most of the TECH sites say that APPLE MAC, ASUS and TOSHIBA comes first with less malfunction rates, and more build quality than HP or DELL...

Best overall quality in my opinion are MacBook Pros but you pay dearly for that quality. In the same class in terms of build quality are the business class laptops from Lenovo(ThinkPad), Dell (Lattitude), and HP (EliteBook I think, these days). Consumer class laptops, in my experience, all have less build quality. However, business class laptops are not necessarily the best all around machines (they usually are poor at gaming).

Asus is rated #1 for highest reliability, next is Toshiba.

Asus has 15.6% failture rate in the first 3 years and apple is at 17.4%

Toshiba is rated #2 with 15.7% but is also less expensive.

I think bliq00 is right.

It will depends more in the model than the brand...

(I had one asus board and one asus netbook that died on me, i'm guess i one of the unlucky owner)
