Best USB 7.1 Surround Gaming Headset

I'm looking for a decent headset.
Don't want to drop a lot of cash for this one though.
Preferably a headset with external audio drivers, because I only have the onboard sound chip. And 7.1 surround option as well.

I was looking at these 2 models:
Plantronics GameCom 780 7.1

I'm reading great reviews of both of them, specially the cheaper plantronics which is a great deal for it's price, at least what I read.

Which one should I get and why or maybe an other brand?

Budget is 100euro's max.

Head down to head-fi and if u need a mic check out the mods peeps make? In your shoes i would get a sound card with headphone amp section, some non demanding but decent budget stereo/wired cans and these would offer better SQ/$$

thanks but I was able to buy a new Sennheiser pc363D for a discounted price through my bank. That's there new top of the line headset with an external usb surround sound card.
