All that is in Halo 3 in high level MLG (which you need ODST to play). It may not be the best game ever made, but it is the best competitive game ever made. The amount of skill, strategy, and team work involved make it incredible if you're good enough at it.

Lol. Halo 3 takes a LOT of strategy once you start playing level 50 MLG. You have to maintain setups, sync pushes, communicate with teammates, and control spawning among other things. If you were to go to an MLG event you would see that most teams even have a coach that helps out during games.

Dragon Age was brilliant, L4D2 was great fun, MW2 was very very shiny... Hell PC gaming is brilliant.

Agreed, Uncharted does look awesome tho, except for being 720p with no AA... its what you get when a good dev focuses on getting the most out of one device, rather than just settling for good enough on all platforms to get the most money (ok, I know they are owned by Sony.)

I think its just been a slow year for PC. not many exclusives, and its too much to ask for a lazy greedy multi-platform dev to actually develop something properly on the PC while they are busy chasing the hords of jocks and idiotic ADD riddled teens and their parent's money with the xbox.

WTF jocks? What does that have to do with Xbox? It sounds to me like you are one of those guys that got beat really really bad by a kid who's balls had not even dropped yet on Halo or something (thus your comment about ADD riddled teens).

I support all gaming platforms and realize that each platform brings something different to the table. But I think we should all grow up a little (matt) and stop trying to stereotype different platforms or the people that use them. Just because the xbox is having success doesn't mean people need to bitch about how their platform of choice is getting left behind due to teens and jocks (wtf???).

On a last note, everyone is calling the devs "lazy and greedy". What the hell do you think is the point of developing a game? I can tell you, its to make money you moron. Game devs are going to do whatever they can to minimize costs and maximize profits. If this means developing for multiple platforms then that's what they will do. People forget that this is a gaming INDUSTRY. INDUSTRY being the key word. INDUSTRIES make money. If instead they decided to submit to the demands of all the whiners out there, they wouldn't be making nearly as much money. And then what? THEN the gaming industry would dwindle away until it was no longer profitable. Say goodbye to gaming industry.

Borderlands? Where is that? I liked it anyway.
Thought Dragon Age and Modern Warfare 2 would be up there, though MW2 is Overrated.
Batman Arkham Asylum was also good and should at least get an honorable mention.
No Arma 2? Easily best Sim Shooter.

All the retards had more than enough time to log on Spike and vote. if you just consider the fact that Uncharted won instead of MW2 ( which I dont find wrong or anything and I own all consoles + gaming rig.. just trying to make a point ) when uncharted has soldlike 1/8 out of what MW2 has sold multiplatform then you can imagine of the voters. I never cared about this stuff simply cause the same way you can put a vote online and have a 60% say that use OS X over windows simply cause most Mac users voted.. Its reallly pointless.

How can you expect someone to take you seriously when you point out 2 things. 1) your love for uncharted ( we all like uncharted but you are just misserable kiddo.. really ) and hate for the 360 hardware. lol I mean come ON. How can it bother you so much the popularity of another console when you dont even own it? I own both and I can proudly tell you that ever since release ive been buying shitloads of AAA titles on the 360 and have been enjjoying this gen's gaming a year before the PS3 comes out up till now, through it. on the PS3 I own only God of War collection, Uncharted 1 & 2 and LBP which I cant even play anymore since the first couple of times.. too kiddy looking and I love hardcore and intence that arcades. Even multiplatforms still look better on the 360 and almost always will , along with better online services and connections with dedicated servers, which PS3 doesnt have.. So try to make a point cause noone cares if you are so obssessed with your console that irritates you that the 360 has ny fame instead of all of it belonging to Sony.. Is Sony feeding your family or something?

PC Gaming will be more active the coming year, new GPUs, new graphic engines so our PCs will shine all over 😉

Wow, most of those games seem like total crap.

Dragon Age, I watched my roommate play it the other day on the 360. Looks like the most boring piece of crap I've ever seen.

Assassin's Creed II, again, watched my roommate play it (PS3 this time) and it looks OK but I still probably won't play it.

CoD:MW2 is probably one of the worst games I've ever spent money on. Thank god I picked up Mass Effect for $10 right around the same time to make me feel slightly better.

Uncharted 2 doesn't look terrible. Watched roommate play the first game and I've seen worse. I probably won't play it.

Just about everything else, I don't have any sort of opinion on but probably still won't like them. I'm a fan of JRPG's, Race sims (on the PC) and GOOD first person shooters, not overhyped abortions like MW2.

C'mon, how can CoD: MW 2 not be the game of the year? That game saved the industry this year. It proved that folks are still willing to spend sixty bucks for a game if the story line is good and the game play is very crisp.

I know Uncharted 2 is amazing in a number of ways but it has no where near the appeal of CoD: ModWar 2.
