best way to record a tv screen with a tablet video recorder

i would lik to know how i can point my tablets video recorder at a tv screen and get a good picture. as it looks on the tv screen?

I know of no way to make it look 'great' or look like it would (whatever it is) on the TV screen when recording it on the tablet. I mean you can set up the tablet on anything that will hold it up high enough, making it the same height as the TV screen. You can then use almost anything that works to make it stable. The problem will be the quality of the video. Tablets just are not made to make high resolution video recordings.
