Bios lock password on dell inspiron 1501

I have a dell inspiron 1501 that has a bios lock password on the setup screen. I have the pw (I think) but not entirely sure how to input it. I have a picture of what it looks like if anyone's interested in helping....

Unable to do so. Got it off a third party that was trying to fix it for the owner because they didn't know what to do in this matter. Owner ended up getting a new computer and I bought this for relatively cheap. It works but would love to have this fixed.

exactly...this is what happens when a person sells a stolen laptop. they sell it to a person who sells it to someone else who then comes to these tech site looking for a way to hack into someone else's property. As stated...this is against Tom's Hardware rules.
