BIOS Update Help

Hello, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X220. I am trying to install OS X via a guide I found online. The first step is update the bios to the latest version.
I have never done this before and was wondering could somebody tell me how to or show me a good tutorial on it?

in the manual it gives a address to the support page on this but seems to be no good ??
