Bios updates slowed my fps

Hello good people! I have an Asus laptop model G752VT and it has been great until yesterday when all my games now run at 20-30 FPS instead of the usual 200-300 FPS.. I believe it has to do with the updating my laptop to BIOS version 214 because it started right after that happened. So I decide to update it further to v216 to see if the would fix the issue but it did nothing.
Ideas?

Hello good people! 2 days ago my computer was running at about 150+ fps on games like league and Diablo 3.. now at best it is running at 40 fps. This happened AFTER I updated my BIOS to version 214 as suggested by the ASUS live update program (which I know regret listening to). After that I update to version 216 hoping that will solve my problems but it didnt.. I am not all to tech savvy so detailed instructions would be helpful please!
