Bit torrent help ?:(

hi i just got a new computer and i wondered if i can continue to dl something that i started downloading on my old pc, i already got the torrent files on my pc

Use the same torrent client i.e. Bitcomet if this is what you were using.

Copy the contents of the download folder into the same folder on the new PC.

but how do i start in on bit torrent? since it aint complete i need to continue downloading it

With bitcomet I needed the partially downloaded file and the *.bc! file also. This lets bitcomet know that the torrent I am attempting to download is already started.

With bitcomet the default download location is c:\downloads.

All the bitcomet files and partial downloads are stored here. You will need to transfer all the files ffrom your download location, default or user defined.

i dont got a bc file and i use BitTorrent 6.2
