I don't run the same ROM long enough to catch this pointless malware. XD

Then again, it's a sign of where mobile devices are headed... In a few short years people will be compromising mobile devices implanted in victim's skulls and throwing pop-up ads into their eyeballs via LCD contact lenses. *shudders*

Epic, the CarrierIQ software is not "caught", nor does it cause pop-ups, and no it is not missing in many of the roms (pretty much any Cyanogenmod rom will not have it, and most others that are not CM, MIUI, or AOSP based WILL have it.)

By CM7, do you mean Cinematic Mod 7 for Half-life. Uh, that doesn't run on Android. BTW, the latest version is CM11 RC.
